Why the desert works for proposals
Complete privacy, extraordinary light at sunset, silence after dinner, a setting unlike anywhere in the city. The visual contrast — intimate and ancient, an hour from the Burj Khalifa — makes for photos that hold up for a lifetime.
Which safari level to choose
The VIP Hideaway is designed for proposals: private illuminated pod for two, fine dining, personal host, total seclusion. Your partner sees a beautiful dinner reservation; everything else stays a surprise.
The VIP Private is the camp alternative: your own fire in the open desert, slightly more relaxed format. Some guests prefer the more natural approach to the ring moment.
What we coordinate
Tell us you are proposing when you message us. We arrange: exact timing of the host's absence, flower and candle placement, photographer position and brief, direction you will face for the best light. Nothing on the night looks planned — that is the point of planning it with us.
The photographer
A discreet professional positioned nearby captures the moment and the reaction, leaves immediately after the proposal, returns for a short couple session on the dunes. Edited photos within 48 hours.
FAQ
How far in advance should I book?
At least 1–2 weeks. More for popular dates (Valentine's, New Year's Eve, weekends in November–March). The photographer and arrangements need 5–7 days.
What if it is windy or cloudy?
We monitor conditions and give a weather heads-up 24 hours before. Light cloud at sunset can be beautiful for photos. We discuss a reschedule for high wind or sandstorm.
Can I add a surprise cake or gift?
Yes. A personalised cake, cold bottle (Hideaway is licensed), and wrapped gift can all be placed at the table before you arrive.
