Your driver messages you when en route. Pickup for evening safaris is typically 2:00–3:30pm depending on season and your hotel’s location. Drop-off is around 9:30–10:30pm. Wear light clothes and sandals or trainers. Full details in what to wear on a desert safari.
Booking FAQ
Can I book a VIP desert safari for today?
Same-day booking is usually possible for Classic and Fortress until around 11am. Private, Glamorous, Luxury and Hideaway levels need 24 to 48 hours to set up. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm in minutes.
Do I pay a deposit or the full amount?
Shared-camp safaris (Classic, Fortress) are paid in full at booking. Private setups and events confirm with a deposit, with the balance due before the day.
Can I change my date after booking?
Yes. Date changes are free up to your cancellation deadline, subject to availability. Changing to a more expensive level means paying the difference; changing to a cheaper level means we refund the difference.
Is it safe to book a desert safari online?
Book only with DTCM-licensed sellers, pay by card (never bank transfer to an individual), and expect a voucher naming your exact camp. See our guide to choosing a safari operator.
