The key rule
Dune bashing is not recommended during pregnancy. Take the direct flat-track transfer to the camp instead — same journey time, same arrival, you miss nothing except the drive itself.
First trimester
If your pregnancy is confirmed and progressing normally, a direct-transfer camp evening is generally fine — but check with your midwife or doctor first. Dune bashing: avoid to be safe.
Second and third trimester
Direct transfer and camp evening: generally fine for healthy pregnancies. Tell us and we reserve a chair-height table rather than floor-level seating.
Food
The BBQ buffet includes fully cooked grilled meats, rice, salads and bread. Cooked dishes are consistently safe. Fine-dining levels can confirm cooking methods on request.
What to tell us
Your trimester and any specific needs. We note the direct transfer on your voucher, reserve a higher chair if needed, and confirm toilet proximity for your camp.
FAQ
Is camel riding safe during pregnancy?
Not recommended. The mounting/dismounting motion and rocking gait can put strain on the pelvis. Skip and enjoy the camp from a comfortable seat.
Can I eat and drink at the camp when pregnant?
Water, soft drinks, tea and Arabic coffee are all safe. Grilled meats at the buffet are cooked through. Camp levels are non-licensed so alcohol is not available.
Should I tell the operator I am pregnant?
Yes. It helps us reserve the right seat, note the direct transfer, and confirm the camp toilet location.
